Feasibility study on Ungheni – Chisinau gas pipeline

The main objective of the assignment was to carry out a technical, economic, commercial, and socio-environmental feasibility study for the construction of a gas pipeline to link Ungheni with Chisinau. It included the following:

• Detailed feasibility study with technical economic, regulatory, commercial, financial and socio-environmental analysis;
• Elaboration of a Public Procurement Plan in line with the requirements of EBRD procurement policies and rules (‘PP&R’) applicable for public sector operations, as well as, a Project Implementation Plan;
• Detailed Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) and public consultations in line with the EBRD’s Environmental Policy (2008) and applicable EIB standards.
